In 2005 we traveled to Singapore. This was the perfect first trip outside of Japan because they speak English. We loved the ease of getting around the city/country, the cleanliness, and the culture. Singapore's people are Chinese, Malays, Indians, Eurasian and Arab in order of percentage. We had a pitstop in Taiwan on the way to Singapore where we had one day of sightseeing too.
